Hello, I am 37 yrs old, with 2 c-sections and after my 2nd C-section my tubes were cut.I have been dealing with different symptoms like heavy pain during sex, hair thinning, back pain including on my rectum, dry skin, heavy migraines, and big blood clots during menstruation. Last October and after 2 weeks of straight bleeding, I was surgically intervene due to a myomal polip of 6cm. After the surgery the heavy bleeding during menstruation has reduced but the pain has increased. I have told my doctor that I want to get an hysterectomy done but he refuses since he thinks I am too young. However, I was told that more likely I have endometriosis and therefore they are putting me in hormonal therapy but I haven't been properly diagnosed. Polyps and endometriosis can be treated through an Hysterectomy. In that case what would be one of the issues of a parcial hysterectomy at my age? Does my 2 c-sections can be a risk for getting a hysterectomy done? This is what my doctor argues.

Hello, I don´t know all informations, but basically, hysterectomy is the very last choice, both for endometriosis (which can be usually diagnosed with ultrasound at specialised centre) and polyps. S pozdravem MUDr. T. Valentová
