Children's group NEMO

The NEMO nursery is intended for the children of staff at Hospital Hořovice.
The operating hours are tailored to the working hours of healthcare staff.
The children follow a framework educational programme, on the basis of which the school curriculum has been adapted; consequently, the programme is broadly in line with that of state nursery schools.

A new building has been constructed on the hospital grounds for the children’s group. It is an architecturally very inspiring structure. Sunlight streams in from all sides, and the interior is bathed in a kaleidoscope of colours. It is clear at first glance that children live here and that they are happy.

The carers work with the children in accordance with the Education and Care Plan, which is designed to foster the development of the children’s abilities, as well as their cultural and hygiene habits. It focuses on shaping the children’s personalities and supporting their mental and physical development. The nursery’s daily routine is aligned with that of state nurseries.

The nursery building is surrounded by a well-maintained garden with a multi-purpose play area.
