Specifics of the care provided:
The Urogynecology Outpatient Clinic offers women a comprehensive solution to pelvic floor static disorders - incontinence or urinary retention, various forms of pelvic organ descent and anal incontinence after childbirth, etc.
The equipment of the outpatient clinic enables advanced diagnostics including 4D ultrasound examination of the pelvic floor and is linked to urodynamic examination and cystoscopy possibilities at the urology department.
We advocate a modern approach whereby, after listening carefully to your concerns and carrying out a thorough examination, we are able to provide information which can inform your decision on what treatment you wish to undergo.
We very often discuss various non-operative solutions to problems in collaboration with the physiotherapy department, or through drug therapy. We offer surgical treatment when these methods have failed or are expected to have a high risk of failure. We always respect the woman's wishes regarding the retention or removal of the uterus as part of the reconstruction of the vaginal descent. We strive for a quick and adequate solution according to your possibilities and wishes.

Important information:
Attend your first appointment, if possible, with a referral from your treating physician, a negative urine culture and possibly a regular cervical cytology smear.
In case of urinary disorders, please, if possible, fill in a micturition diary, or at least count the number of times you urinate per day and night and the frequency of your problems.
If you need to have a urodynamic or cystoscopic examination, you will be given an appointment for this examination at the urology department, the results of which we will then consult in the outpatient clinic or by telephone.
After the urogynaecological procedures have been carried out, you will remain in the care of our outpatient clinic for the necessary time, after which we will transfer you back to the regular care of your gynaecologist.
