our long-term goal is satisfaction with hospital services, staff friendliness and quality of care.
In case of serious dissatisfaction with our services, you have the right to file a complaint. Above all, we would like to resolve your dissatisfaction or other problems as soon as they arise. Please do not hesitate to contact the departmental managers, the Chief Medical Officer or the Head Nurse.
If your problem has not been satisfactorily resolved, you have the right to make a formal complaint:
Who can make a complaint?
- Patient;
- The patient's legal representative or guardian;
- a relative if the patient is unable to do so because of their health or if they have died;
- a person authorised by the patient on production of a written power of attorney.
What must the complaint contain?
- Information about who is making the complaint and what it concerns;
- in the case of a natural person, the name, surname, date of birth, place of residence and signature;
- in the case of a legal person, the name, registered office, registration number and designation of the statutory body;
- an indication of what the complainant is seeking;
- a written power of attorney of the representative who is lodging the complaint on behalf of another person;

If the complaint does not have these elements, is not clear or illegible, or requires additional information to resolve it, we will invite you to complete it.
We only deal with anonymous complaints in extremely serious cases.
How and where can I make a complaint?
- In person;
- in writing by letter to the Secretariat of the Director of Hořovice Hospital, K Nemocnici 1106/14, 268 31 Hořovice;
- by e-mail (stiznosti@nemocnice-horovice.cz, pacient@nemocnice-horovice.cz).
- by a data box of a natural person
What will follow?
- We will acknowledge receipt of your complaint;
- we will inform you of the resolution within 30 days.
In case you are not satisfied with the way the complaint has been resolved, you can contact the Regional Authority of the Central Bohemia Region, Department of Health.
Filing a complaint does not affect the further provision of services.
