Psychological outpatient clinic

The psychological workplace provides prevention, diagnosis, treatment and support of mental health problems, disorders and diseases to children and adults, outpatients and inpatients and their families.

For hospitalized patients, care is requested by the attending physician in consultation with the patient.

A referral from a general practitioner or specialist is required before an appointment can be made in the outpatient clinic.

If necessary, crisis intervention can be provided to people who are experiencing a difficult time for various reasons without a physician's referral. The department does not provide special child psychodiagnostics. Children under the age of 16 are admitted to care after prior arrangement and clarification of the contract.

Multiple appointments are often required for diagnosis and psychotherapy, each lasting approximately 50 minutes. In the case of diagnosis, we schedule longer sessions. In addition to talking, we use other methods and techniques for treatment and relief (relaxation training, autogenic training, hypnotherapy, imagery, body work, clay, sandbox, etc.). In the case of child clients, we work in the presence of at least one parent.

Psychological outpatient clinic

Make an appointment: 311555000

The psychology department provides diagnosis and treatment of mental health problems to outpatients and inpatients.

How the first visit takes place: The patient makes an appointment at the NH front desk. The initial consultation is usually longer, up to 1.5 hours. We will discuss with you in detail your difficulties, options for appropriate care and further treatment.

Care provided:

Psychological evaluation at the request of a physician or other specialist.

The diagnostic examination is carried out in the form of an interview and test methods. In the case of a diagnostic examination for children and adolescents, family members are included in the examination.

The examination helps to describe the patient's difficulties and their cause, cognitive functions, personality traits and emotionality. We schedule the psychological examination over several days.

The department does not provide a transport psychological examination or specialized child psychiatry.

Crisis intervention

Crisis intervention is a one-time or short-term help for a person who is in a difficult life situation that he/she cannot handle on his/her own. It is help aimed at stabilisation, orientation in the situation, evaluation of options and decision-making.

Psychotherapy

The use of psychological means to alleviate or eliminate difficulties.

We support the patient in gaining insight into life, understanding themselves and achieving change. This involves regular meetings and the process uses scientifically validated procedures. The goals of psychotherapy are agreed upon by the patient and the therapist. Therapy sessions last 45-50 minutes.

Currently the capacity for psychotherapy is fully booked. Unfortunately, due to the workload, we are unable to guarantee waiting times.

Psychological counselling

Consultation to address a specific problem or situation up to 8 sessions.
