We hereby ask the public to strictly adhere to the rules listed below.
Visit
Patient visits are permitted under the conditions listed below:
- The person visiting must not show any signs of respiratory illness.
- The visitor must wear a respiratory protective device, namely a respirator (FFP2, CN 95) to prevent the spread of droplets. For children under 15 years of age, a mouthpiece is sufficient.
- Without respiratory protection, according to the above conditions, a visit to the patient will not be allowed.
- No more than one person may be allowed to be present with the patient at the same time.
- The visitor must carry out hygienic hand disinfection both on entry and repeatedly during his/her presence in the hospital.
- In multi-bedded rooms, only one patient shall be allowed to visit at a time.
Attendants at delivery
- The presence of 2 accompanying persons is allowed during the stay of the parturient in the delivery room.
- The attendants must not show any signs of respiratory disease.
- If the attendants do not show any signs of respiratory illness, they may stay in the delivery room without respiratory protection.
- In case of suspicion of respiratory disease in the attendants, the medical staff has the right to equip the attendants with respiratory protection (FFP2 respirator, CN 95).
- Attendants must carry out hygienic hand disinfection both on admission and repeatedly during their presence in the hospital.
Visits to the neonatal unit
Visits to the neonatal unit are allowed under the conditions listed below:
- The visitor must not show any signs of respiratory disease.
- Visits are allowed to the fathers of the child and the siblings of the child.
- The visitor is required to wear respiratory protective equipment (FFP2/KN 95 respirator/mouthpiece) to prevent the spread of droplets. A mouthpiece is sufficient for children under 15 years of age.
- The attending person must carry out hygienic hand disinfection both on admission and repeatedly during his/her presence in the hospital.
Accompanying persons of the hospitalised patient
- The accompanying person must not show any signs of respiratory disease.
- No more than one accompanying person may be allowed to be with the patient at any one time.
- The accompanying person must carry out hygienic hand disinfection repeatedly during his/her stay in hospital.
- If the accompanying persons show no signs of respiratory disease, they may stay in the patient's room without respiratory protection.
- In case of suspicion of respiratory disease in accompanying persons, the medical staff has the right to equip the accompanying person with respiratory protection (respirator FFP2, CN 95).
