Radiodiagnostic Department

RDG department of Hospital Hořovice is equipped with the most modern technologies, it is fully digitized with the storage of documentation in digital form in the PASC system with the possibility of transferring images on portable media or via computer network. The system is connected to the nationwide medical network. This system enables examinations to be carried out with minimal radiation load and of the highest quality, with rapid transfer of image documentation.

  • Abdominal CT including more targeted indications of selected organs only

  • CT of selected C, TH, LS segments of the spine (max. 3 segments)
  • CT of SI joints
  • CT of the skeleton
  • CT of the vasculature
  • Interventional procedures under CT control
  • Periradicular therapy - PRT
  • CT enterography - examination of the small intestine villi
  • CT colonoscopy
  • CT coronary angiography

Ultravist 370, 300 contrast agent is used in some CT examinations. The application is carried out with pressure pumps Ulrich Inject by MeMed.

USG examination

  • Examination of the upper abdomen

  • CT I - Definition AS (Siemens) – This CT scanner with Adaptive Dose Shield technology is one of the most advanced devices available, significantly reducing unnecessary radiation exposure to the patient’s body and actively adjusting the dose to ensure the examination is as gentle as possible for the patient.

  • Definition Siemens 

  • X-ray I Ysio Max (Siemens) – is a modern, fully digitized radiographic system that enables precise radiographic imaging of tissues using direct digitization with low radiation exposure.

  • X-ray II – Axiom Luminos (Siemens) – is a modern digital skiagraphic-skioascopic unit utilizing direct digitization. It enables the creation of digital radiographic video recordings of specialized examinations with low radiation exposure.
  • Aplio and CUS-AA000 - Aplio A (Canon Medical)– is a modern ultrasound device offering excellent image quality of the examined areas, typical of state-of-the-art medical equipment; it features numerous functions that enhance visualization and improve diagnostic yield

To make an appointment

CT (computed tomography)

Orders are made at the central ordering desk in person, by phone or by e-mail. Acute examinations immediately after the referring physician has made an appointment with the RDG physician.

Scanning

Without an appointment during working hours. Acute around the clock.

Skiascopy

Appointments available at the RDG front desk in person or by phone at 311 558 004.

Sonography

Appointment at central ordering desk, by phone or email. Acute immediately by appointment between the referring physician and the RDG physician.

 

A properly filled out REQUEST FORM is a condition of all patient examinations!

Includes:

  • Patient's name, surname and r.n;
  • health insurance company; WHO numerical diagnosis;
  • legible stamp, name and signature of the doctor
  • the type of examination required and what the examination is to answer;
  • legible basic anamnestic data relevant to the examination;
  • allergic history;
  • for examinations where the administration of contrast medium is foreseen - creatinine value;
  • before interventional procedures, the coagulation and bleeding rate - INR;
  • i.m. analgesia before drainage.
