Physiotherapy

The Department of Physiotherapy provides therapeutic care for a wide range of conditions for all age groups, both outpatients and inpatients. We work with all clinical disciplines and provide physiotherapy care for indicated patients. The aim of physiotherapy is to maintain, restore or replace optimal function of the musculoskeletal system. Movement, as one of the basic attributes of the concept of health, affects other functions of the organism, including psychological functions.

The department provides physiotherapy in all departments of the hospital.
In the outpatient part we provide care to patients of all ages, including pediatric rehabilitation from newborn age.

  • Outpatient clinic - Exercise rooms I - IV for individual exercise, Exercise room for pediatric physiotherapy
  • Electrotherapy - application of physical procedures: diadynamic currents, interference currents, galvanic currents, therapeutic ultrasound, laser therapy, instrumental lymphatic drainage, magnetotherapy, thermotherapy
  • Gym
  • Paraffin and hydrotherapy - whirlpools for lower and upper limbs
  • Outpatient clinic for pelvic floor disorders and incontinence every Tuesday 12:30- 15:30. Examinations and therapies are carried out only on the recommendation of your attending physician (gynaecologist, urologist or rehabilitation physician)

    PNF, Bobath, Vojt's Reflex Therapy, Moses Method, McKenzie, R. Brunkow, Sensomotor exercises, ACT
  • Individual therapeutic physical education - analytical exercises
  • Exercise for children with postural defects and scoliosis
  • Mobilization and soft techniques
  • Kinesiotaping
  • Reflexology massage
  • Vestibular rehabilitation
  • Incontinence and pelvic floor disorders, gynaecological physiotherapy
  • Special respiratory physiotherapy
  • Therapy of spastic paresis according to Graciés
  • Lymphatic drainage, manual and instrumental lymphadema treatments
