Nearly 80 people from the ranks of health professionals not only from the Hořovice hospital, but also from general practitioners of paediatrics from neighbouring towns and villages registered for the seminar. The dining room of the Hořovice hospital, where the seminar was held, was filled to the last seat.
The first part of the seminar was led by MUDr. Jana Djakow, deputy head of the department for the treatment of chronically ill children at the Hořovice hospital and was dedicated to new developments in the field of resuscitation. The second part of the seminar was practical, when the participants could try performing resuscitation on a dummy of an infant and a large child. In doing so, they learned a lot of interesting information from Daniel Blažek, MD, Head of the Department for the Treatment of Chronically Ill Children at the Hořovice Hospital, who has extensive experience from years of practice in the inpatient paediatric ward of the Department of Anaesthesiology and Resuscitation of the FNM and especially from the air ambulance service.
"We are very pleased to see such a great interest in the topic," said MUDr. Mahulena Mojžíšová, head of the children's ward at Hořovice Hospital. "It is a signal for us that there is interest in seminars and educational events among the professional public. We will definitely continue to organise them," added the chief medical officer.
