On this occasion, the hospital's management invites former employees and veterans, mayors of municipalities and businesses that contributed to the construction of the hospital to a joint meeting to be held on Thursday, 9 June 2016 at 2 pm in the newly built hospital dining room.
The official opening of the celebration will be followed by a music festival for employees and the general public from 4pm in the employee parking lot. The highlight of the festival will be the band MIG 21. The festival will also feature musical groups Bílá nemoc, Olympic Revival, Bigband Rokycany and Free Q.

Hořovice Hospital is celebrating these days the sixtieth anniversary of the laying of its foundation stone. I am glad that we can take this opportunity to pause for a moment and redirect our efforts for a better future to memories. Hořovice Hospital has undergone a long development of which it is not ashamed and has gradually become a quality facility with a comprehensive range of treatment. Sixty years of history is not so long that we cannot find memories of the complete beginnings and the further development of our hospital. In view of this anniversary, we thought it would be nice to organize their memories, chronicle entries and other materials into a publication to thank, at least in some small way, all those who were present at any stage of the construction and subsequent operation and remodeling of the hospital, and certainly contributed in some way to the present form and spirit of our hospital. In conclusion, I would like to wish this hospital, but above all the people who work in it, that we continue to enjoy working together to create an environment for its visitors that they will not directly enjoy, but at least not dread.
