"We now have 9 children hospitalized. Everyone, both parents and relatives, as well as professionals, expresses their sincere admiration and excitement about the new space we have for our pediatric patients. In addition to the state-of-the-art medical equipment for specialized intensive and resuscitation care for children, technical facilities including specialized air conditioning and finally a beautiful environment, we can also boast of a pleasant, friendly and helpful staff," describes the Chief Medical Officer. "In a few weeks we will even have a great success when our little patient Elinka, who has been staying with us practically since her premature birth, i.e. for almost two years, will be discharged from our ward directly into home care."
The ward was recently visited by members of the association Klubko s yarn, who handed over to the head nurse of the ward Mgr. Pavlína Hesounová, who presented handmade gifts for the children in the form of rehabilitation and compensatory aids, reclining cushions and toys. "Our children want to play. They are limited by respiratory and other health limitations, but first and foremost they are children. Toys, talking, stories, these are all things that make their long-term hospitalization more enjoyable," describes the head nurse.
