Especially in winter, we are more likely to encounter colds, coughs and flu. Changing temperatures when moving from heated rooms or cars out into the cold, lack of exercise and an incorrect diet can all be to blame. Try reading the following advice to boost your immunity naturally.

In the first place it is necessary to mention movement, especially in the fresh air. Of course, the weather is not so good in winter, but a short walk is enough. This will increase the blood supply to the mucous membranes of the respiratory tract and thus increase their resistance.

Ventilate consistently at home. Even if you turn the heating on during the day, the room temperature should ideally be around 20-21°C and it is advisable to ventilate sufficiently at least in the morning. Then turn the heating off completely at night, and the temperature in the bedroom should be around 16-18°C.

Eat regularly and sensibly. The worst thing you can do for your immune system is to eat under stress and skip breakfast or lunch, for example. Also include sufficient vitamins, minerals and trace elements in your diet, especially vitamin C, vitamin E, zinc and magnesium, and don't underestimate your drinking regime.

The last and equally important tip is to get a good night's sleep. Air out your bedroom before sleeping, sleep ideally for about 8 hours and make falling asleep more pleasant - perhaps with a good cup of tea or some nice music.
