On Thursday, 5 June 2014, Hořovice Hospital was visited by a member of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic Ing. Kristýna Zelienková (pictured in the middle) accompanied by members of the newly established Hořovice organization of the ANO Movement, especially its chairman Ján Rogos and vice-chairwoman PharmDr. Jana Holubová.
Accompanied by the owner of the hospital Ing. Sotirios Zavalianis, the delegation toured the renovated premises of the hospital. They visited the children's ward and the newly opened Department for chronically ill children - OCHRIP, the newly reconstructed gynaecology, maternity and neonatology wards. Ing. Zavalianis, with undisguised joy, informed the members of the ANO Movement delegation about the recent acquisition of the status of the Perinatology Intermediate Care Centre, as well as about further plans for the overall reconstruction of the hospital, which he sees being completed by the end of this year.
MP Zelienková and the members of the Hořovice ANO organisation used their visit to discuss the future prospects of the hospital, in particular to explain some of the problems such as the planned construction of a new car park. All those present expressed their wish to agree on a joint approach to resolving this thorny issue between the town and the hospital management after the local elections in October
The members of the ANO Movement delegation appreciated "a great deal of work that is already producing clear results" - in particular the owner's efforts to turn the hospital in Horovice into a nice, modern medical facility with a background of quality professionals. One where the patient will feel good.
As Ing. Kristýna Zelienková and Ing. Sotirios Zavalianis also opened up a number of other tricky topics that, thanks to the current healthcare system, still complicate many things in the operation of a healthcare facility. At the same time, they agreed that the Hořovice hospital, in which the new owner has already invested hundreds of millions of crowns, is making a good name not only for Hořovice, but also for the entire Central Bohemia Region.
At the end of the visit, members of the ANO delegation received invitations to the upcoming benefit concert with Tomáš Klus. In addition, Mrs. Ing. Kristýna Zelienková promised to come and see the state and results of the reconstruction of the Beroun hospital in the near future.
