Hořovice Hospital has set up libraries for patients

The libraries have been in operation since September 2015 and are primarily intended for patients, but also for hospital employees, completely free of charge. "The libraries were created thanks to a common idea to be as helpful as possible to visitors and patients of the hospital. Filling them is a joint effort of the employees, many of whom brought books from home that they had nowhere to put or wanted to discard," says Kateřina Vicková, marketing specialist at Hořovice Hospital.

Patients of the Hořovice hospital can browse through historical books, but also detective stories, recipes or the "red library". "We would like to invite everyone who would like to add more books or magazines to the library that they no longer need at home. They can bring them to the headquarters or directly to the individual departments of the hospital," adds Vick.
