The expert jury then selected 12 winning photographs. From them, a brand new wall calendar for 2017 was compiled, which was on display on Wednesday 7 December at the opening of the exhibition of all the photographs. The exhibition is located on the first floor of the main building of the Hořovice hospital, in the waiting room of the internal outpatient clinics and will run until the end of January 2017.
The exhibition was opened by Mgr. Kateřina Vicková, Marketing Specialist of Hořovice Hospital, who announced that the next photo competition will focus on themes related to the working environment of the hospital and also on photos from various events. After the opening ceremony, the calendar was christened by Jiří Steinbach, M.D., head of the anaesthesiology and resuscitation department, who is himself a frequent photographer.
The authors of the winning photographs are Milena Dokoupilová (NH), Jiří Holomíček (NH), Tomáš Hecht (NH), Jitka Kubovčiaková (NH), Ilona Trejbalová (NH), Petra Hornáčková (RNB), Georgios Giannitsis (RNB), Pavel Kasík (NH), Gabriela Žáková (NH), Blanka Červenková (NH), Libuše Brabcová (RNB), Rostislav Hájek (NH).
The resulting calendar is available for purchase. It is available for 100 CZK at the administration of the Hořovice Hospital. Proceeds from the sale will go to the Movember campaign.
