Representatives of the Children's Clinic of the University Hospital in Hradec Králové visited the hospital in Hořovice

The intensive care unit for chronically ill children at the hospital in Hořovice is a very specialized and unique facility in the Czech Republic. On Monday, 30 November, representatives of the intensive and resuscitation care unit of the Children's Clinic of the University Hospital in Hradec Králové came to see for themselves.

The planned visit of the team of nurses took place under the leadership of Pavel Rozsíval, M.D., the head of the intensive and resuscitation care unit of the Children's Clinic, and Paula Veselá, the station nurse of this department.

Colleagues from Hradec Králové visited the Neonatology Department and then had a detailed tour of the Intensive Care Unit for chronically ill children, which was conducted by Mgr. Pavlína Hesounová, head nurse of the department.

The visit ended with a presentation by MUDr. Daniel Blažek, Head of the Department, concerning the establishment and further development of intensive care for chronically ill children.

The team of staff from the friendly department in Hradec Králové expressed their professional admiration for the high standard of complex care for patients, they especially appreciated the equipment and the overall modernization of the hospital.
