Rules for visits to the Hořovice Hospital

In view of the current epidemiological situation, we would like to inform you about the modified rules for visits to our hospital. The set measures are valid from 17 May 2021 until further notice.

The visit can only take place if the person visiting the patient has undergone a negative SARS-CoV-2 antigen test before the visit. The test can be taken at the collection point in the car park outside the hospital without an appointment. The collection site is open on weekdays.

Exceptions are persons who:

  • have completed an RT-PCR test or antigen test with a negative result no more than 48 hours prior to the visit and document this result in writing;
  • have been issued a certificate by the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic on vaccination against COVID-19, and at least 14 days have passed since the second dose of vaccination and the vaccinated person does not show any symptoms of COVID-19 (in the case of a single-dose vaccination schedule - after 14 days after the first vaccination);
  • they have laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 disease and the isolation period according to the applicable emergency measure of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic has expired and no more than 90 days have elapsed since the first positive RT-PCR test for the presence of SARS-CoV-2 virus.

Any person visiting the patient is obliged to use protective equipment.

The obligation to purchase protective equipment for accompanying persons does not apply to visits or accompaniments to the maternity ward, the six-week ward and the neonatology ward.
