Mrs Novotná is also the founder of a non-traditional kindergarten, which she gradually expanded into a primary school. Today, her B-English educates children from two to fifteen years old in Králov Dvůr.
The nurses at the hospital in Hořovice were delighted with the book and their young children were even more delighted with the gift.
The beautifully and very engagingly illustrated book was, as she says, created at the prompting of a teaching session with her daughter, who was just at pre-school age. "The workbooks that make up this book cover the complete educational area according to the Framework Curriculum for Preschool Education," explains author Novotná.
The book is intended for children, parents and teachers as one way to support children in their development during the transition from kindergarten to primary school.
Mrs. Novotná is thanked for her nice gift by all the donated nurses and their preschool children. They all agreed that it is a very nice and well thought out publication and are looking forward to getting to work with the children.
