"It was an indescribable experience. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank the hospital in Hořovice and the excellent medical team, thanks to whom I was able to give birth without a cut despite the many complications. We are extremely happy", said the newlywed mother. When we asked her "why Hořovice", Andrea replied, "I didn't want to give birth in Prague. The maternity hospitals there are more like a factory. I was looking for something where a personal approach prevails and where the mother-baby relationship is supported. I hesitated between Hořovice and Rakovník. In the end, I chose the Hořovice maternity hospital because I found out that there is neonatology and you can intervene if there are complications. I have not regretted choosing Hořovice at all," says a satisfied mother next to the sleeping Tobias.
Mrs Růžičková reacts with undisguised enthusiasm to the conditions in the Hořovice maternity hospital. I have visited many of my friends in different maternity hospitals, but I have never seen anything like this. I feel like I'm in an apartment here, I don't feel like I'm in a hospital at all. I haven't experienced any stress either here or in the gynaecology, the environment is very friendly everywhere. I expect that in three years we will meet here again... I would especially like to thank MUDr. Dana Chudáčková, who delivered us and was a great support for us all the time. We would also like to thank the head of neonatology , MUDr. Milena Dokoupilova, for her personal care and concern. We are leaving with only beautiful experiences," says the young actress with a smile.

And why is the maternity ward at Sluneční brána so popular among mothers-to-be? "We strive to provide not only medically quality, but also human care to all newborns and their families. At the same time, we try to create a home-like atmosphere," explains the neonatologist from Horovice. Hořovice neonatology has an intensive care unit with the status of a perinatology centre of intermediate care and the staff is able to take care of children born from the 31st gestational week of pregnancy.
