Blood is an irreplaceable fluid for human life. It cannot be artificially produced and the only source is voluntary donors. A single donation can help up to several patients - after injuries, surgeries, in the treatment of serious illnesses and in acute situations.
The Hospital Hořovice will commemorate this important day on Friday, 12 June, when every donor can look forward to receiving something good as a small thank you.
You can donate blood every weekday by calling 311 559 402. The only requirements are age 18+ and good health.
Planning a trip abroad? We recommend coming to donate blood before you leave. After returning, it is often necessary to observe a "block" - a temporary exclusion from donation, the length of which varies depending on the area visited and the current epidemiological situation.
