"We are glad that there was such interest in the event. It is feedback for us that we have something to offer to our colleagues and we can establish the widest possible cooperation in patient care. For example, our doctors now have CBCT and panoramic X-ray, Primescan, operating microscopes and other modern equipment at their workplaces. The laboratory has a sintering furnace, INLAB milling machine and LAB scanner," says Antonín Spal, MD, dentist at Hořovice Hospital.
In the modernised outpatient clinics, dentists are therefore able to provide patients with above-standard care and an extensive range of services, from dental hygiene, through stoma surgery to dental implants, using the facilities of their own modern dental laboratory.
"We not only presented the entire dental section of Hořovice Hospital to our colleagues from the field, but the programme also included an educational event focused on introducing the method of biological bone reconstruction that we are now offering to patients. We would also like to expand the spectrum of procedures, for example, to include periodontal surgery," described Martin Rota, MD, dentist and owner of a dental clinic specializing in stomatology and implantology.
