We have concluded a contract for the purchase of 5 new operating tables

The Hořovice Hospital has 5 central operating theatres. We have now concluded a contract with Getinge for the purchase of new Maquet Otesus operating tables.

"In our hospital, we are constantly striving to provide not only top-quality care, but also to continuously renew our equipment according to the latest trends. At the end of this year, we renewed the operating tables in the central operating theatres," says Tomáš Petsinis, Deputy Director of Operations and Technology at Hořovice Hospital. "The purchase will not have any increased economic impact for the hospital, the main reason for the purchase is to modernise the existing equipment. The price of all five tables is around CZK 17 million and we expect delivery in early 2020."

"The need to upgrade the existing equipment in the operating theatres arose from the demands of the times. The population is unfortunately gravitating towards obesity and the new operating tables are, among other things, adapted for people with extremely high weight. In addition, they allow for individual reconfiguration according to the given specialty," describes the new operating tables the head of the orthopaedic department Milan Pastucha, MD.

The central operating theatres provide facilities for surgery across all specialties. The operation of the operating theatres is round-the-clock.
