"Despite the current difficult situation, we decided to open the PLDD outpatient clinic, which the hospital took over last year. We are aware that the opening is delayed due to, among other things, the hygiene and epidemiological situation in the Czech Republic in connection with the ongoing pandemic COVID-19. I firmly believe that the newly renovated premises, the waiting room, the place for parking prams and the modernly equipped clinic will appeal not only to children," says Tomáš Petsinis, the operational and technical deputy of the Hořovice Hospital.
"At this moment, due to the situation in the country and related measures, we have set the surgery hours in a modified mode. From the beginning of May, the outpatient clinic will be open every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, with a space for invited patients from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., when mainly preventive examinations and vaccinations will be carried out, and from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. the outpatient clinic will be dedicated to sick patients," says MUDr. Mahulena Exnerová, head of the children's department of Hořovice Hospital, under whose primary care the outpatient clinic falls. "Over time, if the risk of COVID-19 is reduced, we will further adjust the surgery hours."
