In any autumn season, the greatest interest is in products for immunity, coughs, colds and blocked sinuses. There has also been a recent increase in interest in tests for covid-19, which is now on the rise. "We mainly advise clients to rest, control fever and treat coughs. It depends if it is dry or wet and deploy preparations accordingly. Eventually, taking vitamin D is recommended or we have very good experience with preparations containing betaglucans. They stimulate cellular immunity and are very good for immunity. I also recommend them as a prevention against colds," explains Mgr. Magdaléna Čížková. In addition to these common autumn viruses, however, there are also digestive tract diseases and, according to the pharmacist, people come especially for charcoal and anti-diarrhoeal medicines.
