Sampling room in new premises

A few days ago, the sampling room was moved from the ground floor of the main entrance of the hospital to the building of the transfusion department. However, the entrance to the collection room is on the opposite, left side of the building. Nearly 100 patients and visitors who visit the collection room every day are informed of this change by signs.

"We have moved the point of collection mainly because it is a much visited place of the hospital and its current location on the ground floor of the main building has not been suitable for a long time," said Tomáš Petsinis, the operational and technical deputy of the Hořovice hospital. "We believe that the newly built collection point in the building of the blood transfusion station will be more suitable for the increasing number of patients of the hospital", added Tomáš Petsinis. He also assured that the collection point will be well marked and distinguished from the existing blood donor collection point so that visitors can easily find their way around
