Protective equipment package for hospital visits

The current epidemiological situation in the Czech Republic does not allow for visits to hospitalized patients in health care facilities, with a few exceptions. Since this situation has been going on for more than a year, we have come up with a way to make such a visit at the hospital in Hořovice.

In order for the visit to take place from an epidemiological point of view, it is necessary to ensure the safety of the patient, the medical staff and the person visiting. One of the few effective means of combating COVID-19 is the use of disposable protective equipment. With this in mind, we have put together a package of protective equipment for the visiting person as well.

The package of disposable protective equipment is charged at 100 CZK. This amount should be paid at the central reception in the vending machine. On the basis of the receipt from the payment machine, the medical staff will issue you with a package of protective equipment at the entrance to the ward.

There is still a ban on visits to all wards of Hořovice Hospital.

The presence of a visiting person at the patient's bedside is only possible with the approval of the head of the ward or the doctor on duty and with the use of a package of disposable protective equipment for the visiting person.

Exception:

for the presence of one person at the delivery.
Announced visits by fathers/other persons in cohabitation to the Sixth Form Unit between the hours of 14:00 - 16:00 hours, with one person with the mother.
Escorts are only permitted for children, immobile or incapacitated persons going for examination, treatment or hospitalisation, in the number of one person.

Only one person may be allowed to visit in a multi-bedded room.
