"One of the reasons why we visited the Hořovice Hospital is to personally thank the medical staff," said Pavel Pavlík, the Central Bohemian Region's Councillor for Health, who visited the hospital today together with Jan Skopeček, a member of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic, to meet personally with the medical staff of the ward where they care for covid patients.
"From my point of view, the Central Bohemian health care system is one and should function as a whole, only it has a different structure of owners and a citizen should not know whether he goes to a private or a state hospital. The hospital in Hořovice is indeed a beautiful modern environment that could set an example."
"The main purpose of today's visit is to thank the doctors and medical staff for their work during the covid crisis. We were also happy to present them with a symbolic gift of vitamins and immune boosting products as a thank you. I also invited the Regional Councillor for Health Pavlik to Hořovice so that he could see a private hospital that could be an inspiration for regional facilities. As a member of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, I have been trying to invite other politicians to Hořovice for a long time so that they know about Hořovice and know it in case they decide on matters that may affect Hořovice in the future," described Jan Skopeček.
"It was a pleasure to welcome Mr. Pavlik and Mr. Skopeček to our hospital. During their visit, we introduced them to selected departments of the hospital and also to the operation of our vaccination centre, where we have already vaccinated almost 14,000 doses, of which 3,900 people have undergone complete vaccination, so they were given a second dose of vaccine," said Michal Průša, MD, Director of Hořovice Hospital.
