After the start of the fall election, the precinct election commission sent members to the hospitalized voters and the staff serving with a portable ballot box, an official envelope and ballots. For example, MUDr. David Frejlach, who was on duty in the neonatal unit at the time of the election, took advantage of this opportunity. "I knew I would be on duty at the time of the election and since I wanted to do my civic duty I arranged for a voter ID card," said Dr. Frejlach. Similarly, the new mother Helena Kostihova, who is in constant contact with her twins in the neonatology ward, did not miss this unique opportunity to vote in the hospital (see photo).
During the voting, the members of the election committee and the hospital staff acted in such a way as to maintain the secrecy of the vote. Patients and staff voters were registered on a special list.
