From Monday 17 December 2018 there will be changes to the rules for the use of the car park in front of the hospital.
"At the request of patients, we are introducing parking charges during hospital admission. It happens that people are unexpectedly hospitalized after a doctor's appointment. Since they were not expecting this possibility, it is possible that they arrived in a car that they have to leave for several days in a paid parking lot," says Tomáš Petsinis, the operational and technical deputy of Hořovice Hospital. "Therefore, we are now introducing a parking fee of CZK 200 per day for hospitalised patients who stay in the hospital for more than three days. This amount will be payable upon presentation of a medical report - proof of hospitalization," adds the deputy.
The length of free parking is also being changed from 3 hours to 2 hours.
The change in parking fees applies only to the parking lot in front of the hospital. Parking on the hospital grounds is still for acute cases only - 20 minutes free. This entry is not subject to the hospital rate.
