No visits to the maternity ward and children's ward

With effect from today, 13 March 2020, we prohibit visits to all wards of the Maternity Hospital U Sluneční brány, including the neonatal ward and the sixth-grade ward. The ban also applies to the presence of fathers or other persons at the birth.

The visiting ban also applies to the children's inpatient ward and applies to parents who cannot be in the room with their child for the duration of the hospital stay.

In serious cases, exceptions are possible by prior agreement with the head of the ward.

The ban on visits applies until further notice.
