"Due to the current state of the sanitary-epidemiological situation in the Czech Republic, we unfortunately had to cancel the discussions for pregnant women that we organize for mothers-to-be. During these talks, which were led by our midwives, there was also an opportunity to see the delivery rooms so that the mothers could have a clear idea of where births take place in our hospital. Unfortunately, the current state of the hospital does not allow this and so, to compensate for this possibility, we have created a visualization of the entire maternity ward, thanks to which you can see the entire premises of the maternity ward," said Leoš Teslík, MD, Head of the Gynaecology and Obstetrics Department. "We are convinced that this will be welcomed by the parents, because our maternity hospital is, in my opinion, the most beautiful in the Czech Republic, and during childbirth the environment is also important, which creates a calm and pleasant atmosphere."
"In 2019, we proceeded with a complete renovation of the maternity ward, thanks to which the number of delivery boxes was expanded, the reception rooms and the facilities for the staff were rebuilt. The invested amount exceeded CZK 48 million," added Tomáš Petsinis, the operational and technical deputy of the Hořovice Hospital. "At the Hořovice Hospital we strive to provide the best possible comfort for all patients. As you can all see through the visualisation of the delivery rooms, the comfort of the delivery rooms is at the highest possible level."
