New reception for the dental department

In order to improve the quality of services, a new reception desk has been put into operation, which is intended only for patients of dental clinics. The reception desk is located at the entrance to the department. The telephone number for the reception is 311 555 000 with area code 4.

"All areas of the dental department were refurbished last year. The equipment and dental sets were also replaced, " said Tomas Petsinis, the operations and technical director of the Hořovice Hospital, about the reconstruction.

New equipment was purchased for the dental outpatient clinics

"For the dental outpatient clinic we have purchased a high-precision digital panoramic KaVo OP 3D machine. The technology produces clear and homogeneous images for complete diagnostics, and it also has a system for ensuring a stable patient position, thus minimizing the occurrence of artefacts caused by movement. This state-of-the-art machine is a great asset for the department," described the new X-ray machine Tomas Petsinis.

Four outpatient clinics are available to patients at the dental department of Hořovice Hospital. The department has its own laboratory. Last year, an emergency service was set up every Saturday.
