"In our hospital we are continuously increasing our health services, both in terms of expanding their spectrum and increasing the quality of the services offered. This month we opened a new urology department. The ward is located on the second floor of the main building and has 16 beds, of which 4 are triple rooms and 2 are double rooms," says Tomáš Petsinis, the operational and technical deputy of Hořovice Hospital.
"Within the urology outpatient department we provide complete outpatient care including cystoscopic examination, prostate bioptic examination and urodynamic examination. Within the wide range of surgery we perform complete endourological surgery (urinary stones, prostate, bladder), open and laparoscopic kidney surgery, tumour diseases, congenital defects, genital procedures and incontinence procedures for women," says Petr Běhounek, MD, head of the new urology department.
