Hořovice Hospital successfully passed another ISO audit

16. 5. 2017

ISO is a security audit that focuses on the quality and compliance of an organization's processes. This year, the hospital conducted an ISO 9001 surveillance audit and an ISO 13485 certification audit of the Central Sterilization Department. During this audit, auditors verify the fulfillment of ISO standards, especially focusing on patient and employee safety, check the hospital's internal regulations and compliance with them in operations, and verify the fulfillment of personnel, operational, technical standards and regulations with an emphasis on the overall operation of the facility.

Preparations before the audit itself are a demanding process and are not only focused on the audit itself. It is a process of improving the quality of care for patients, but also for staff and the overall safety of the environment for all.

"I am proud of the results of the audit, which showed that we have come a long way again since last year," said Michal Průša, MD, Director of Hořovice Hospital. "I would like to thank not only those who actively participated in the preparations for the audit, but also all the employees who contribute to the reputation of the entire facility through their daily work and diligence," added the hospital director.
