Ground floor of the hospital in a new look

10. 8. 2016

With the completion of the reconstruction of the entrance area and outpatient clinics on the ground floor of the Hořovice hospital, another chapter of the long-term reconstruction has been completed. With its friendly premises, modern equipment and friendly staff, the hospital is one of the top medical facilities in the Central Bohemia Region.

As of this week, the hospital cash desk has returned to the ground floor of the main building, just to the left of the main entrance, opposite the main hospital reception. It was reopened a few months ago and is used to book patients for individual appointments or to provide information about the functioning of the outpatient clinics.

From the beginning of September, a number of outpatient clinics, particularly ENT, skin and diabetes clinics, which now operate on the second floor, are scheduled to return to their original premises on the right wing of the ground floor of the hospital. The dental department has been operating in this wing in completely renovated premises for several weeks.

"Already now, after seeing the entrance area, it is obvious that the environment of the hospital is taking on a completely new character - more friendly and positive towards patients and employees," says Tomáš Petsinis, Technical and Operations Director of Hořovice Hospital. Since last February, a brand new canteen has also been available to the hospital's employees, which serves not only as a food dispenser and restaurant, but also as a modern conference room with state-of-the-art technical equipment for seminars and other events.
