Expert seminar of cardiologists of the Na Homolce Hospital and internists from Hořovice

On Wednesday 14 June, a professional seminar of the Cardiac Centre of the Na Homolce Hospital took place in Hořovice. The seminar was held in cooperation with the internal department of our hospital and focused on the latest trends in cardiology. The role of the chairmen was taken by the project guarantor Prof. Petr Neužil, M.D., CSc., FESC and the head of the internal department M.M. Veverková (see introductory photo).

In several lectures given by MUDr. P. Ošt'adal, MUDr. L. Šedivá and MUDr. P. Kmoníček, topics dealing with trends in the treatment of acute myocardial infarction or in the non-pharmacological treatment of the most common arrhythmias were presented. Professor Neužil presented a unique treatment of advanced heart failure using wireless stimulation.

The lecture was attended by doctors from both the Hořovice and Beroun hospitals. The event ended with a pleasant informal discussion, which only confirmed the above-standard relations that have existed for years between the internal department of the Hořovice hospital and the Na Homolce Cardiac Centre.
