Eighth Neonatology Conference at Zbiroh Castle

Under the auspices of the Hořovice Hospital and the head of the neonatal department, MUDr. Milena Dokoupilová, the neonatology conference "8. Days of Neonatal Case Studies". This two-day event, which has become an important point in the calendar of professionals involved in the care of newborns, offered participants not only a rich program full of expert lectures, but also the opportunity to make new contacts and share experiences. It attracted more than 200 participants from all over the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

The main part of the programme was devoted to presentations of case reports, which brought the latest findings in the field of neonatology and paediatrics. Participants had the opportunity to share their experiences and innovative practices in the care of premature babies and newborns with complications.

The conference also included the launch of two new publications in the field of neonatology. The first book was the second continuation of the"Case Reports of Neonatology II" by Milena Dokoupilova and Miloš Černý and the second book entitled"Atlas of Neonatal Pathologies" by Miloš Černý, Miroslava Balaščaková, Tomáš Fait et al.

"The eighth neonatology conference at Zbiroh Castle was a successful and inspiring event that brought new knowledge and strengthened the community of neonatologists. It is important that we continue to meet and share our experiences. Thanks to this, the level of neonatology care is moving forward. I am pleased with the high participation and the positive feedback from colleagues who repeatedly attend the conference. We are already looking forward to the next edition, which I believe will again have something to offer," described MUDr. Milena Dokoupilová.
