The effects of green tea on our health have been known for many, many years and nowadays green tea drinking is gaining a lot of popularity in Europe, not only in Asia. This tea contains around 6 000 different substances that may contribute to the prevention of Parkinson's or Alzheimer's disease, cancer, atherosclerosis, lowering cholesterol levels and faster metabolism and fat burning. And on top of all this, there is the effect on our psyche. Green tea improves our mood and psychological well-being and, so to speak, refreshes our mind.

It is green tea, which is also referred to as "true" tea, i.e. tea that has undergone minimal oxidation during its processing. And oxidation is the main reason why tea leaves lose much of their strength in other cases.
However, in order for the aforementioned effects of green tea to take effect and for the antioxidants contained in it to work ideally, it is not enough to drink one cup a week, but it is necessary to drink it regularly, i.e. daily. But of course, just drinking green tea is not enough, if you want to be really healthy, then you must also include a healthy diet or physical activity in your lifestyle.
And one more thing to watch out for - green tea should be high quality and fresh. So be sure to forget about bagged teas from the supermarket. Of course, they are easier to prepare than loose teas, but they are generally inferior. Green tea should not be drunk in the evening, especially for its refreshing effects, and the amount of tea drunk per day should not exceed 1 litre.
