On Wednesday 20 November 2019, a job fair was held at the Dean's Office of the 3rd Medical Faculty. A rich program full of interesting lectures was prepared for students. Presentation stands of representatives of medical institutions from all over the Czech Republic were set up in the lobby.
" Over 150 students visited our stand of Akeso Holding. There was no need to introduce the holding, as everyone knew our facilities - the Hořovice Hospital, the Rehabilitation Hospital Beroun and Multiscan in Pardubice. We are glad that they have such a nationwide reputation," says Petra Horáková, spokeswoman of the Hořovice Hospital.
"Many students want to do their internships with us. They are attracted by the approach of our doctors to trainees, the beautiful modern environment of the hospitals and the instrumentation of all the departments," says Jiří Pichlík, head nurse at Hořovice Hospital, adding: "Several final year students even arranged to visit the hospitals with us. We are happy to welcome the students to our hospitals and show them the wards so that they can get an idea of the work in each department."
The day-long programme of the fair was aimed not only at general medical students, but also at interested students from undergraduate courses and vocational secondary schools.
