Neonatal Unit

The history of the neonatal unit at Hospital Hořovice dates back to 1961. Between 1975 and 2000, 400–700 babies were born there each year, and since 2005 the birth rate has been rising significantly. In 2014, the department was granted the status of an intermediate care perinatal centre, enabling it to provide care for newborns from as early as the 30th week of pregnancy. HOTLINE – 311 554 542 – Intended exclusively for advice on breastfeeding, nutrition or other issues relating to young infants, 24 hours a day.
