Every year, employees from both companies join together to organise a charity activity. A year ago, they made the Home for the Elderly and the Home with Special Regime in Zlín happy. This year they wanted to support children in the Intensive Care Unit and the choice fell on the Hořovice Hospital.
The main organiser of the fundraiser, Petr Hadrava, Head of Internal Audit at SAB Finance, got in touch with local doctors and the plan was born. Together with Daniel Blažek, MD, Chief Medical Officer, Jana Djakow, MD, PhD, and other employees who regularly care for children, they prepared a list of needed supplies and the collection could begin.
"These are not toys. Conventional toys are inappropriate for the patients in our department. Their disabilities do not allow them to play with them. Our children mainly need help with their development, whether it is fine motor skills, sound perception or visual stimuli," explains Mr. Blažek.
When Petr Hadrava and Kamil Chalupa, Head of PR at TRINITY BANK, brought a cart full of gifts to the ward, a feeling of gratitude overwhelmed everyone present. "It is great that our children are not forgotten. They are amazing and are making great progress," said Deputy Chief Medical Officer Jana Djakow, MD.
It is beautiful and inspiring that there are still enough people who think about how they can help others, and they are not indifferent to the fate of the children in this ward.
The entire team of doctors, paramedics and other staff of the Post Intensive Care Unit for Children at Hořovice Hospital would like to thank all the employees of TRINITY BANK and SAB Finance for their selfless support and kind gesture that reached the children in this ward.
