The exception applies:
- for the presence of one person at the birth.
- Announced visits by fathers/other cohabiting persons to the Sixth Form Unit between 14:00 - 16:00 hours, with one person with the mother.
- Escorts are only permitted for children, immobile or incapacitated persons going for examination, treatment or hospitalisation, in the number of one person.
- Other individual exceptions may only be authorised by the head of the ward or the patient's attending physician, and only one person may be allowed to visit in a multi-bedded room.
Even for exceptions to visits and escorts, there is a prohibition on admission if the person will have a fever, cough or other symptoms of respiratory illness or will be quarantined.
Please note that it is still mandatory to cover the airway with a drape or mouthpiece when entering the hospital. If your drape is not in good condition, you may purchase a new one at the central intake area in the drape room.
No visitors are allowed in all wards of the hospital.
