We are starting to build a new generation hospital

"We started construction at the end of August with earthworks in the volume of 47,000 m3. We are planning to erect three 60-metre cranes with a capacity of 8 tonnes in the building," says Marek Paulis, project manager of Construction Team, which is part of AKESO Holding.

The Hořovice Hospital - New Generation Hospital project is quite unique at the European level. It will combine the operation of a large hospital providing health care across medical disciplines in normal times with the possibility of rapid conversion to an infectious disease unit for the needs of the Central Bohemia Region and Prague.

The estimated cost of building the new generation hospital is approximately CZK 2.5 billion. "The project is an expression of the social responsibility of the AKESO Group, for which the priority is to care for the health of the population at all levels," concludes Petra Horáková, spokeswoman of the Hořovice Hospital.
