"At the Hořovice Hospital we are finishing the first phase of vaccination, when we are vaccinating health care workers and social services workers. At the moment, we are already vaccinating with the second dose all employees of the hospital who have expressed interest in vaccination and who did not have to be postponed, for example, due to the recent COVID-19 disease," described the director of the Hořovice hospital , MUDr. Michal Průša.
"Now the current supply of vaccines has enabled us to open 72 places, which have been occupied by people registered in the reservation system of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic. At the moment, we have a total of 778 vaccination candidates who belong to the 80+ group and who want to be vaccinated at the Hořovice Hospital. The system ranks patients according to their age, so it now contacts the oldest registered persons by text message," explains MUDr. Průša. "We will continue to vaccinate the public, but we remain dependent on vaccine supplies. Nevertheless, we expect to vaccinate all persons in the 80+ group during February and March."
We are asking all people who receive a text message with the date and time of their vaccination to come to our vaccination centre with a completed and signed simple health questionnaire, which can be downloaded here: Pre-vaccination Questionnaire_COVID-19.pdf. If the patient is immobile, wheelchair access is available. If it will be necessary to accompany the patient, please limit this to no more than one person.
It is no longer necessary to register for the second dose of vaccine; the patient will receive the date at the same time as the first dose.
