"Your temperature will be taken and your hands will be disinfected in the new entrance area. In addition, the whole process is monitored by a camera system," described Tomáš Petsinis, the operational and technical deputy of the Hořovice Hospital.
In addition, we have placed a robot at the entrance to instruct you on the steps you need to take before entering:
STEP 1 - Measure the temperature using a thermal imaging camera, where you have to place your face in front of the thermal imaging camera screen so that the temperature is correctly read.
STEP 2 - Automatic hand sanitization.
"This is the first phase of streamlining the inspection at the main entrance. In the near future, we are still planning to place monitors in these areas, which will be used for electronic registration of arrivals," added Tomas Petsinis.
Access outside the cell is only allowed for ambulances and immobile persons.
Patient escorts to the hospital are still allowed only for children, immobile or incapacitated persons going for examination or hospitalization, in the number of one person. Further individual exceptions may only be authorised by the ward manager or the patient's attending physician, and only one person in a multi-bedded room may be allowed to visit.
