The jury then selected 12 winning photographs. From these, a brand new wall calendar for 2016 has been compiled, which was on display on Wednesday 2 December at the opening of the exhibition of all the photographs. The exhibition is located on the first floor of the main building of the Hořovice Hospital, in the waiting room of the internal outpatient clinics and will last until 20 December, after which it will move to the Rehabilitation Hospital Beroun.
The exhibition was opened by MUDr. Jan Calta, expert representative of JESSENIA a.s., who praised the exhibited photographs. "We are very pleased that there was such an interest in this event. It was not easy to choose the winning photographs. Next year we will definitely repeat a similar event and we look forward to even more photographers participating than this year." After the opening ceremony, the calendar was christened by Michal Průša, MD, Director of the Hořovice Hospital, together with Jiří Steinbach, MD, Chief of the Anaesthesiology and Resuscitation Department, who is himself a frequent exhibited photographer.
The authors of the winning photographs are Vlasta Benešová, Rostislav Hájek, Tomáš Hecht, Michaela Chvalová, Oldřich Jindřich, Miloš Koudelka, Daniela Olšavová, Zdeněk Pavlis, Tomáš Veverka and Jana Ziková.
All are cordially invited to the exhibition. The resulting calendar can be purchased for 170 CZK at the administration of the Hořovice Hospital.
