The Governor and the leadership of the Central Bohemia Region visited our hospital in Hořovice during her trip around the region.

"I keep my fingers crossed for the Hořovice Hospital and I cheer its efforts to become a top hospital in Europe, a hospital of the new generation. After listening to all the plans concerning the expansion of the current operation and also the development of the hospital by the "pandemic" part, I believe that it will succeed," says Petra Pecková, the Governor of the Central Bohemian Region.

At the hospital, the delegation visited the maternity ward U Sluneční brány, which is the largest maternity ward in the Central Bohemian Region with its 1,800 births, and the neonatal ward, which includes neonatology, a centre of intermediate care for children from the 31st week of pregnancy. The visit to the hospital ended at the children's intensive care unit, which was opened in 2014 as the first of its kind in the Czech Republic, and where multidisciplinary chronic intensive and resuscitation care is provided to children of all ages.

"Having toured the hospital, I can only add that it is a pleasure to see that there are hospitals that are not only beautiful and modern, but also offer a comprehensive range of services. You are very inspiring and many could learn from you," the Governor concluded.
