At the beginning, MUDr. Jan Calta, professional representative of Jessenia a.s. and NH Hospital a.s. and MUDr. Luděk Pelikán, Director of Hořovice Hospital thanked everyone present for their work for the benefit of the hospitals. They wished them a peaceful Christmas holidays and good health and further personal and career success in the next year 2015. They both recalled the words of the owner of the hospital Ing. Sotirios Zavalianis, who likes to say that his greatest asset is his quality employees. Proof that these are not just idle words was his decision to reward a total of fifteen employees of Hořovice Hospital, ten employees of RNB and one employee of Hořovice Hospital Pharmacy with an all-inclusive trip for two people to the Greek island of Crete. These doctors, nurses, technical and administrative staff of both hospitals were slightly shocked by the gift, but then gradually received the vouchers for the trips from the hands of the owner of the hospitals and expressed their warm thanks to him.
In addition, each participant in this year's Christmas party received a red clown nose upon entering the Community House. The aim of this event was to support the well-known charity organization Konto bariéry not only financially (the management of both hospitals contributed 25,000 CZK), but also promotionally. A total of 500 employees of the hospitals put on the clown nose during the evening and were invited to take photos together. The aim was to create a new record for the most number of social photographs with red noses on. Employees of both hospitals accepted this unusual offer with joy and a series of very interesting pictures were taken as a result.
The good mood of the party was then added to by the performance of the male vocal quintet Hlasoplet, who managed to create a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere with their spirituals and jazz pieces in their own distinctive arrangements. The pearl of the party, however, was the stormy performance of the very popular music group Chinaski, who entertained and danced the attendees with their well-known songs. The disco followed after midnight. There were also refreshments in Greek style and a raffle in which 15 winners won a voucher for a balloon trip over the Beroun region. More than 600 attendees had a good time until late into the night.
