We allow visits to the Hořovice Hospital

On the basis of the current epidemiological situation related to COVID-19, we are modifying the hygiene and epidemiological regime at the Hořovice Hospital as of 28 February 2022.

Patient visits and escorts

Visiting and accompanying patients in hospital is allowed if the visitor or accompanying person over 12 years of age meets one of the following conditions and proves this with the appropriate EU COVID-19 certificate:

  • A negative RT-PCR test no more than 72 hours old or a negative RAT antigen test no more than 24 hours old taken by a health professional,
  • a history of COVID-19 disease within 180 days of a positive RT-PCR test for SARS-CoV-2 prior to the date of the visit,
  • completed vaccination against COVID-19 disease at least 14 days after completion of the vaccination schedule, with a vaccination certificate valid for 270 days for persons aged 18 years and older without a booster dose,
  • completed vaccination against COVID-19 with the administration of a booster dose.

The visitor or chaperone must wear an FFP2 class respirator (KN95) without an exhalation valve at all times. Children who have not yet started compulsory schooling do not need to wear protective equipment; a surgical drape is sufficient for children under 15 years of age.

Entrance to Hořovice Hospital

On 28.02.2022 we open the main entrance to the hospital.

Patient testing

As of 28.02.2022, we are abolishing the universal entrance testing on admission to the hospital.

In rare cases, only on the basis of the medical discretion of the surgeon.

The diagnostic indication is fully within the competence of the attending physician.

Vaccination Centre

On 28.02.2022 we are closing the vaccination centre of the Hořovice Hospital for the category 16+ in the Elbe Club.

The activities of the Vaccination Centre for the age category 5-15 years will remain under the direction of the children's outpatient clinics of Hořovice Hospital.
