Modification of the blanket ban on visits to the Hořovice Hospital

22. 5. 2020

With regard to the validity of the emergency measure of the Ministry of Health, which regulates a blanket ban on visits in hospitals, we allow necessary visits to hospitalized patients at the Hořovice Hospital.

"In view of the favourable development of the hygiene and epidemiological situation, we are glad that we can proceed to further relaxation of the measures we have recently taken," said the director of the Hořovice Hospital , MUDr. Michal Průša. "We will allow visits from Monday 25 May onwards gradually and for the time being only on condition that certain rules are observed and we ask the public to respect these rules. However, we continue to urge all those who wish to visit a hospitalized patient to request a visit only in the most urgent cases and thus reduce the frequency of visits to the hospital to the lowest possible level. Visits will only be allowed by prior arrangement with the ward manager or attending physician. At the same time, we have adjusted the conditions for accompanying patients to the hospital for appointments. All these mandatory measures can be found on our website. Thank you all for respecting these rules and restrictions, which will help us to maintain the positive course of the epidemic and reduce the risk to patients and hospital staff."
